SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Information Technology Manager I, the Information Technology Specialist I (ITS I) configures and administers the Department’s program applications. The ITS I provides technical expertise in all aspects of software configuration and development, testing, and production launches. The ITS I is responsible for software configuration and development using modern techniques, open-source programming languages and frameworks. The ITS I is expected to take initiative, exercise excellent judgment, and independently perform assigned tasks professionally and efficiently with a high level of accountability. The ITS I must be willing to adapt to changing environments and new technologies in order to keep current with industry standards. This position may require occasional travel.
